For those of you living in the Pacific Northwest I’d like to remind you that our incredible retreat is just around the corner! Crochet @ Cama 2011 is an amazing event full of great crochet education, activities and goodies! All retreat goers (yes that includes you daytrippers) get a fabulous goody bag, morning class on the day(s) you register for, good nibbles, and field trip or experience of the day!
Held at Cama Beach State Park on Camano Island, WA you will be emmersed in crochet in one of the most beautiful of our state parks. Cama Beach has been rated 5 stars by Sunset Magazine as one of the top 10 get aways on the West Coast. The best part? No ferries needed to access this treasure! Only a one hour drive north of Seattle, and you get to step back into a simpler time, a place that envelopes you in tranquility and the majesty of Puget Sound. 
Beyond the world class venue, tranquil surroundings, and amazing yarn, you will have access to some of the greatest crochet instructors in the USA. Wonderful classes, break out sessions with round table discussions and problem solving for stitchery and yarn, to hook design and carving, to occupy your hunger for more crochet knowledge. 
As if that weren’t enough we have three special events scheduled, one for each day of the retreat; Monday offers you a private party at our local yarn store Pinch Knitter Yarns, Tuesday is our fabulous tea tasting with Tobi Cain of Tea by Tobi, and Wednesday we take a trip to local Crimping Fiber Farm to get close and personal with alpacas (yes, they even have babies!).
The last day to register is this Friday, September 30. Do you have to be an expert crocheter to come? Nope, you can be brand new! This event is to educate, inspire and emmerse yarn enthusiasts who love to crochet! We won’t be offering the retreat again until 2013 so you want to jump onto this opportunity!
